Two pounds of marijuana, 82 prescription pills allegedly found in Oswego police raid


OSWEGO — Two Oswego residents face felony drug charges after the execution of a search warrant at their residence turned up more than two pounds of marijuana, 82 illegally possessed narcotic prescription pills and $8,500 cash, police said.

Both 32-year-old Joseph B. Crapser and 33-year-old Amy E. Favata face charges of second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a class D felony, after investigators with the city police Anti-Crime Team raided their 146 E. Third St. residence shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday.

Mr. Crapser also was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony.

Both were arraigned in City Court on the charges. She posted $1,000 cash bail and was released. He posted $5,000 bail and also was released. Both are to appear in City Court at a later date.
