ADAMS CENTER — Junior Janessa Vaadi threw a no-hitter with six strikeouts to lead the South Jefferson softball team to a 22-0 Frontier League crossover victory over Immaculate Heart Central on Saturday.

Lyndsie O’Brien collected four hits, including two doubles, and four runs batted in, while Alyssa Parkinson chipped in with four RBIs for the Spartans (15-2 overall, 14-2 league).

GENERAL BROWN 14, IHC 1

Katie Pitkin struck out 12 and scattered five hits across seven innings, while going 2-for-4 with a run-scoring double, to lead the Lions to a Frontier League crossover rout of the Cavaliers in Dexter.

Chelsea VanTassel drove in four runs with a double and two singles, and Mikayla Rust went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for General Brown (13-1).

Immaculate Heart fell to 9-7 overall, 5-6 league.

CANTON 3, GOUVERNEUR 0

Beth Pearson pitched a three-hitter with 14 strikeouts, and went 2-for-2 with a double to power the Golden Bears to a Northern Athletic Conference Central Division victory over the Wildcats.

Cianna Wilmart provided a two-run double to add insurance runs in the fifth inning for Canton (6-5).

Mackenzie Rowe supplied two hits and fanned 13 batters in a five-hitter for Gouverneur (4-6).

LISBON 7-5, HERMON-DEKALB 2-3

Alyshia Murray launched a three-run home run, doubled, and struck out six in a complete game to lead the Golden Knights to an NAC West doubleheader sweep of the Demons in Lisbon.

In the first game, Clair Donaldson struck out six in a complete game win and singled twice for Lisbon (8-4).

Courtaney Davis singled three times in game one, and tripled in the second game for Hermon-DeKalb (3-10, 3-8).

SARANAC 2-4, MASSENA 0-5

Taylor Day stroked a two-run single in the seventh inning to give the Red Raiders a 5-4 nonleague victory over the Chiefs in the nightcap of a doubleheader in Massena.

Saranac won the first game, 2-0.

Amber Thomas went 4-for-5, and Day added two singles in the second game for Massena (4-9).
