PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Jeremy J. Monroe, 32, of Norfolk with petit larceny at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at 841 County Route 38 in the town of Potsdam. Troopers said the charge stemmed from a shoplifting complaint filed with troopers at 12:48 a.m. Sunday from the Potsdam Walmart.



AGGRAVATED DWI - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Michael P. Porcello, 20, of 8370 S. Main St., Evans Mills, with aggravated driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana Saturday afternoon.

Troopers said they responded to a complaint of a reckless and possibly intoxicated driver at 1:48 p.m. Saturday on Route 11 in Potsdam. The stop was made in the Potsdam Walmart parking lot.

Porcello reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent, troopers said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or higher is considered proof of intoxication in the state. Aggravated DWI is charged when the DWI is 0.18 percent or higher.



MENACING - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Daniel E. Black, 24, of Fort Covington with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use after responding to a domestic dispute call at 7 p.m. Saturday from the town of Fort Covington.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - NORFOLK - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region on Saturday. Among those:

■ Jeremy M. Kish, 28, of Massena and Paul Baxter, 72, of Massena at 3:10 p.m. on state Route 56, near County Route 40, in the town of Norfolk.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police reported Monday they had charged Jared A. Marshall, 21, of Malone with unlawful possession of marijuana at 6:19 p.m. May 15 following a stop on the North Raquette Road in the town of Massena.
