PARISH — Two Pennsylvania men suffered minor injuries when their tractor-trailer overturned on Interstate 81 on Tuesday morning.

Police said Michael A. Depew, 22, of Dickson City, Pa., was driving the truck shortly after 5 a.m. when he left the right lane and exited the roadway onto the left shoulder.

Mr. Depew overcorrected, sending the truck into the right guardrail, causing it to overturn and come to rest on its left side.

Both Mr. Depew and a passenger, Shawn Lifiewicz, of Scranton, Pa., were taken to Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, for treatment.

The cause of the accident has not yet been determined. No tickets were issued.
