Orwell man head-butted window of residence he was trespassing on, police say

LACONA — An Orwell man faces four charges stemming from a trespassing complaint at a village residence Monday.

Oswego County sheriff’s deputies said Desmond T. Parsons, 25, of 3500 County Route 22, Orwell, was trespassing at a village of Lacona residence at 1:09 a.m. Monday and when asked by the resident to leave, he refused, deputies said.

As the deputy apprehending Mr. Parsons attempted to retake possession of a piece of property, Mr. Persons pulled away and head-butted a window in the residence, shattering the glass, deputies said.

Additionally, he threatened to head-butt the deputy and spoke belligerently, they said.

He was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, resisting arrest, trespass and second-degree harassment.

He was arraigned in Sandy Creek Court and sent to the Oswego County jail, Oswego, on $1,000 cash bail.
