PHILADELPHIA- Frank J. Pitts, 59, of Pearl Street died Monday, May 19, 2014 at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, NY.

Born in Glendale, AZ on October 5, 1954, he was the son of Gerald J. and Audrey A. Wood Pitts and graduated from Indian River Central School in 1972 and from Jefferson Community College in 1974.

He worked for various construction companies in NY and FL for many years.

Frank was an avid baseball and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and watching westerns on TV.

Survivors include his mother, Audrey; nine siblings, Laurie Pitts, Philadelphia, Louise Pitts, Evans Mills, Katherine Young, Philadelphia, Karen Durocher, Philadelphia, William Pitts, Florida, Ervin Pitts, Philadelphia, Linda Pitts, LaFargeville, Rita Wilm and her husband John, TN and David Pitts, Watertown; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a graveside service in Sandy Hollow Cemetery, Philadelphia, NY at a later date. Arrangements are with Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Inc., Theresa, NY.

Donations can be made to the Sandy Hollow Cemetery Association, Philadelphia, NY.
