Staci A Kline, 50, Inverness, FL/Wellesley Island, NY The day after her 50th birthday, May 7th, 2014, God called a beautiful, kind, loving woman, STACI A. KLINE, home to be an angel. Surrounded by her loving family, she passed away at her residence, while a beautiful sunset lit up her transition. Staci was born on May 6, 1964 in Elmira, NY. An advocate for all children, she was the pied piper! A graduate of Syracuse University and Elmira College, the majority of her career was spent in Camden and Rome as a music educator. Staci retired last summer as the Principal of Black River Elementary School, a part of the Carthage Central School District. She touched many lives in her career; inspiring many. She played bass, guitar and the euphonium. Staci was very active in the community too - through her church, the Clayton Community Band, community theater (showing her techie gifts) and of course was very involved in all of her schools. Staci enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, particularly the “anchors”. Her gentle, caring way and sense of humor would always result in smiles and hugs. She loved boating, music, technology (App 2), traveling and sunsets. She battled her many health issues with courage, poise and grace. Left to cherish her memory is her lifetime partner of 26 years, Sue Whitney; brothers Joseph (Shannon) Kline, Charlotte, NC; sister Kandi (Daniel) Ranson, Huntersville, NC; brother-in-law, Lee Michael (Deborah) Whitney, Inverness; sister-in-law, Ann (Douglas) O’Connor, Highland Mills, NY; nieces Melissa and Heather and nephews Jacob, Andrew, Cooper, Conor, Zachariah, Adam, Michael, Donald and great-nephews Gavin, Michael, Wade, Chad and Karl. She was predeceased in death by her father, Ronald M. Kline and loving grandmother, Hazel. A loving and compassionate person, she will be deeply missed by all of those whose lives she touched in her short time here. There will be a celebration of Staci’s life on July 12th beginning with a Mass at St. Mary’s in Clayton; this will be followed by a “gathering” at the Clayton Opera House. Please celebrate as Stac would want…with festive shirts, casual attire (no pjs please) and wonderful memories of a truly amazing woman. Donations can be made in Staci’s memory to HPH Hospice, Citrus Office, 3545 N. Lecanto Hwy, Beverly Hills, FL 34465 or to a charity of your choice.
