WATERTOWN — Lucy’s House is hosting a “butterfly release” fundraising event through June 15.

For a minimum donation of $20, people may suggest where Lucy’s House staff and volunteers can flutter someone’s lawn with 10 paper butterfly signs and a brief message of the campaign’s purpose. The event seeks to raise funds to support Lucy’s House, a nonprofit counseling agency that provides clinical services and educational support to local children and families that have experienced violence.

With the “butterfly release,” butterfly signs will remain on a property for a few days before they’re relocated to the next nominee’s house.

For more information, call the agency at 755-2665 or send an email to lu.lucyshouse@gmail.com.

Lucy’s House is at 120 Washington St., Suite 330. It is operated by Robin Colello, who also is director of Insights Forensic Counseling Inc., which is on the same floor.
