THERESA An 18-year-old woman was injured Saturday when her pickup truck rolled over on Route 37 and caught fire, police said.
State police said Jenna E. Sharp, of 35656 County Route 36, Carthage, was northbound on Route 37 when she fell asleep behind the wheel.
She subsequently struck an embankment and flipped the truck, coming to rest on a utility pole, police said.
The truck then caught fire, police said, and spread to the power line.
The extent of the damage was not clear. Ms. Sharp suffered injuries as a result of the accident, but details on the extent of the injuries was not available.
She was ticketed with not wearing a seat belt.
