On the afternoon of Sunday, April 27, the citizens of Watertown and surrounding areas were exposed to one of the great concerts of the Orchestra of Northern New York, the last one of the season.
The romantic giants for the day were Drovak, Rachmaninoff and Levin.
The composer of one of the concerts was playing the viola during the concert.
Needless to say, the performance was outstanding.
Many of us are hoping the orchestra can maintain its presence here in Watertown.
When time presents itself, we would hope that many of you will sign up for the season or be able to attend some of the future concerts.
Even though the audiences have been modest, the orchestra will be addressing the matter of advertising and signing members up for season tickets come fall.
This is certainly a community program that needs to be supported.
