WATERTOWN An employee of Syracuse-based CNY Fire Emergency Services was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with making nearly $6,000 worth of unauthorized purchases from Home Depot.
City police charged Joshua W. Woodruff, 29, of 24666 Budlo Drive, Carthage, with making eight such purchases on Dec. 18 at the store, 391 College Heights, totaling $5,873.29. The purchases were made on a credit account owned by CNY Fire Emergency Sercies, police said.
He was arrested at 8:32 a.m. at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and charged with third-degree grand larceny, a class D felony. He was being held at the jail pending arraignment in City Court.
