Joseph Alfred Brough passed from this life May 25, 2014, in the home of his daughter Bonnie. He was born to John Alfred Brough and Dorothy Adeline McCready in Watertown, New York on September 9, 1926.
Joe worked in the tire business in Watertown, New York prior to his war service in the Army during WWII. His service began November 21, 1944. He was assigned to a Construction Battalion and ordered to the European theater at Marseilles, France, Frankfurt, Germany, and England. His unit was tasked with building General Eisenhowers headquarters in Germany. Joes military service was completed on December 15, 1946 then he returned to the tire business where he worked until 1974. After moving to Orlando, Florida in 1974 Joe worked for Brad Ragan Inc., where he retired after operating a tire service and transport truck for 22 years.
Joseph was married to Bessie Decker from March 25, 1945 to 2 Jan 1979 having 7 children; Bonnie, Darlene, Debbie, Mary, Barbara, Linda, and Joseph. He was married to Alice Helen Wooledge from 10 Jan 1982 until her passing 23 Jan 2010.
He is survived by his daughters: Bonnie, Darlene, Debbie, Mary, Barbara, Linda, and multiple grandchildren.
