CANTON — The St. Lawrence University men’s hockey team will face rival Clarkson University four times during the 2014-15 season.

In addition to a pair of ECAC Hockey meetings, the Saints and Golden Knights will play two nonconference games on successive nights as St. Lawrence will host Clarkson on Friday, Oct. 31 and then plays in Potsdam on Saturday, Nov. 1, with both games at 7 p.m.

In ECAC play, the Saints host the Golden Knights on Saturday, Dec. 6 and Clarkson will host St. Lawrence on Saturday, Jan. 31, with both games at 7.

St. Lawrence will open its season with nine nonleague games, starting at Rochester Institute of Technology on Friday, Oct. 10 and will play at Niagara the next night.

After playing at the University of Vermont on Tuesday, Oct. 14, the Saints will begin their home schedule against Ferris State on Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 18, before visiting Miami (Ohio) on Friday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 25.

Also in nonconference play, St. Lawrence will host Vermont on Saturday, Dec. 13 and plays at Northeastern University Jan. 2-3.

The Saints open their ECAC slate at Brown University on Friday, Oct. 17 and play at Yale University on Saturday, Oct. 18 and play at Colgate and Cornell the next weekend before their ECAC home opener against Princeton University on Friday, Nov. 21.

St. Lawrence will host Carleton University in an exhibition game on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 7.
