WATERTOWN — Two former Jefferson-Lewis Board of Cooperative Education Services students, Amy L. Wolff Baker, class of 2000, and Jason Dunn, class of 1991, will be recognized as distinguished alumni during the school’s award ceremonies in June. A plaque commemorating the honorees will be hung in the lobby of their former campus.

They will be presented the inaugural award during individual ceremonies at the Howard G. Sackett Technical Center, Glenfield, and the Charles H. Bohlen Jr. Technical Center.

The award was designed to recognize former students who are positive role models and have made significant contributions to career and technical education, BOCES and their community or country.

Ms. Baker, a graduate of Sackett’s visual communications program and Beaver River High School, Beaver Falls, established a print and graphics business, A-Plus Graphics, in Croghan. For the past six years she has taught visual communications at the Glenfield center. She also serves as the school’s SkillsUSA adviser.

Mr. Dunn, a graduate of Bohlen’s automotive service program and Carthage High School, accepted a technician position at a local Midas automotive service center after high school.

He served as the shop’s foreman and manager before purchasing the franchise location in 1998. At 25 years old, he became the youngest franchisee in the company’s history. He also owns Golden Touch Motors, a used car dealership in Watertown.
