HAMMOND The Hammond Museum is planning its season grand opening for July 2 with several events scheduled. The Farmers Market will open that day at 2 p.m., and will be open each Wednesday from then until September from 3:30 to 6 p.m. A petting zoo will be held at 2 p.m.
A public pig roast will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m., with pork, salt potatoes, salad, rolls and desserts. Several artisans will be set up on the grounds.
