Local auto racing: McIntyre wins on final lap at Adirondack


NEW BREMEN — Todd McIntyre passed John Sullivan on the last lap to win the truck race Sunday at Adirondack International Speedway.

McIntyre pushed Sullivan to the top of the track to earn the victory. Shaun Shaw, Scott Lampson and Pete Wilsie rounded out the top five.

Other winners included Zac Petrie (thunder stock), Erica Gardner (juniors), JR Mooney (super stocks) and Dylan Swiernik (sport compact).

n Watertown’s Tim McCreadie and Tim Fuller both finished in the top five in the second night of the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek on Saturday at Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Md.

McCreadie was the biggest mover of the night as he finished fourth place after starting the 40-lap feature race in 12th. Fuller took fifth. Gregg Satterlee won the race.
