I recently received a negative campaign ad in the mail about Republican candidate Matt Doheny.
In small letters, there was a disclaimer that the ad was not authorized by any candidate. I do not need Karl Rove and his henchman at American Crossroads to inform me about any candidate in Northern New York.
Up until this moment, I was undecided about which candidate would receive my vote in the Republican primary on June 24. I would like to thank Karl Rove for helping me make that choice.
Matt Doheny will now receive my vote. I hope more Republicans will do so. We do not need, nor want, this kind of repugnant influence. I’m sure we will receive more than our fair share of these repulsive ads in the fall campaign.
