CANTON — State police on Friday charged Derek R. Sessions, 40, of Norwood, with felony third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.
Troopers allege that at about 11:20 p.m. at 336 Ellis Road Mr. Sessions violated an order of protection when he arrived at that residence, where the alleged victim was visiting, and punched the windshield of her vehicle, causing damage.
Mr. Sessions was arraigned in Potsdam Town Court and sent to St. Lawrence County jail, where he is being held on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
