LaFargeville woman accused of leaving scene of Bronson Street hit and run

WATERTOWN — City police charged Tiffany M. Aldrich, 23, of 20560 County Route 3, LaFargeville, with leaving the scene of an accident in connection with a hit-and-run incident Thursday on Bronson Street.

A van purportedly driven by Ms. Aldrich hit Ashley LaBarge, of 919 Bronson St., with witnesses saying it occurred following a fight between Ms. LaBarge’s brother and a group of men who had jumped out of the vehicle. After hitting Ms. LaBarge, witnesses said, the van sped away from the scene.

Charged at 3:28 p.m. Monday at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, Ms. Aldrich was processed and released with an appearance ticket for City Court.

Ms. LaBarge, who was taken to Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, following the incident, has since been released.
