Source Capital-Parkway Express, PBA earn two wins in Kiwanis play


Source Capital Parkway Express earned two Kiwanis Softball wins recently while PBA posted a pair of Kiwanis Grasshopper League wins.


Source Capital-Parkway 10, Northern Pump Services 7: Alexa McKee and Kallie Wood combined to pitch a nine strikeout performance for Source Capital-Parkway and McKee also backed up her performance with a triple and a single. Brooke Measheaw connected for a double and two singles while Gabi Kroeger added two singles. Amanda Walker, Paige Carbino, Natalie Kroeger, Erica Snyder and Maya Randle all singled.

Rylie Showers and Carley Piercey combined for eight stikeouts for NPS. Madison Bushey had two singles with Emma Showers, Emma Smithers and Carley Piercey each connected for a hit.

Source Capital/Parkway 9, Lady Moose 8: Alexa McKee and Kallie Wood combined for 14 strikeouts in the Source Capital-Parkway Express win as McKee smacked a bases loaded triple, connected for a double and ripped a single to lead the winning offense. Gabi Kroeger, Amanda Walker, Brooke Measheaw, Elizabeth Mitchell, Abby Flack, Natalie Kroeger and Maya Randle singled.

Abby Raven (3 innings), Emily Farrand (2 innings), and Courtney Baker (2 innings) pitched effectively for the Ladies of the Moose. Baker smacked a homerun while Farrand lined three singles.

Alexandra Rey connected for two hits while Rylee Bresett and Jillian LeBel each singled.


PBA 12 IOOF 3: Drew Costello, Aaron Ellis, Hunter Burnham and Nicklas LaRue pitched the victory for PBA. Dan Regan led the way for PBA with two hits while David Denner, London Jackson, Costello, Ellis, Burnham and LaRue each had one hit.

Keegan England played a strong game for behind the plate and Justice McIntyre pitched well for IOOF.

PBA 10, DeFelsko 7: The PBA hitting attack was led by David Denner and Aaron Ellis with three hits each. Hunter Burnham chipped in with two hits and London Jackson had one.

For DeFelsko Hugh Colburn led the way with four hits, Chris “Snaxx” Perry had two and J.D. King, Alex Mitchell and Collin Towne finished with one hit each.
