WATERTOWN — Jefferson Community College is accepting applications for the JCC Women’s Organization community service scholarships.
Ten $500 scholarships will be awarded. New students, continuing students and previous JCCWO scholarship recipients may apply. The application deadline is Aug. 15.
To be eligible for the scholarships, students must be enrolled full time for the fall semester at JCC, volunteer in the community and demonstrate leadership skills and self-development. Scholarship consideration will include academic standing and financial need.
Applicants for the JCCWO freshman scholarship must have earned a high school average of 80 (3.0) or better.
Applicants for the JCCWO continuing scholarship must have completed no more than 48 credit hours of undergraduate course work and have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.
