AMSTERDAM — Zack Brown threw six shutout innings to lead the Amsterdam Mohawks to a 6-0 victory over the Watertown Rams in Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League action Tuesday at Shuttleworth Park.

The Rams dropped to 4-6 and sit three games behind Elmira (7-3) in the PGCBL West Division.

Brown surrendered just two hits in his six innings, and Joe Randall gave up one hit over the final three innings in relief for Amsterdam (6-6).

John Razzino delivered two RBI-singles for the Mohawks, the first of which came with the bases loaded and two outs in the first inning to give Amsterdam an early 1-0 lead.

Amsterdam scored on back-to-back Watertown throwing errors to take a 3-0 lead in the second inning, and Razzino singled in another run to make it a 4-0 advantage in the fourth.

The Mohawks then scored on a wild pitch and bases-loaded walk in the seventh inning.

Corbin Powers surrendered four runs in four innings of work for the Rams, who also lost to the Mohawks, 6-2, on Sunday in their first matchup of the season.

Amsterdam’s Jonathan Pryor made a catch at the wall to rob Watertown’s Matt Diorio of a home run to lead off the fourth inning to preserve a 3-0 lead for the Mohawks.

Watertown will play a doubleheader at Albany, which boasts a league-best 7-1 record, at 5:05 tonight.

Albany beat Watertown, 5-3, in their only other meeting on June 8.
