CASTORLAND — Timothy S. and Brenda J. O’Donnell, 5811 Swiss Road, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today with an open house from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Croghan American Legion.
Mr. O’Donnell, son of the late Carl and Dorothy O’Donnell, and Brenda J. Walsemann, daughter of the late Milton and Eva Walsemann, were married on June 20, 1964, at the First Baptist Church, Carthage. Honor attendants were Donald Waugh, Copenhagen, and Mary Sweeney, Castorland.
Mr. O’Donnell worked in the Bricklayer Union Local 2 for 35 years, retiring in 2003. He enjoys hunting, visiting gardens and state casinos, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mrs. O’Donnell is a homemaker and has sold Avon products for 34 years. She enjoys gardening, visiting state casinos, camping and providing care for her grandchildren.
The couple has a son and daughter-in-law, Clancey and Holly, Castorland; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jon St. Croix, Castorland; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
