Ogdensburg city pool opens today

OGDENSBURG — The city Parks and Recreation Department’s Elsa M. Luksich Municipal Pool will open today at noon for the summer. The cost is $1 per adult and 50 cents per child. Passes for the pool season for children are $10; adults are $20 and family passes are $35 for up to five people.

The department will offer swimming lessons for children ages 4 to14; the lessons will be from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday from June 30 to Aug. 1. The fee is $25.

Infant/toddler swims are designed to acquaint infants and toddlers, 6 months to 4 years old, with the water. The swim will be held from 11:30 a.m. to noon Tuesdays, Wednesday sand Thursdays from July 3 to 26. The fee is $12.

Early-bird adult swims are set from 6:15 to 7:15 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday from June 23 until Aug. 22. Cost is $65 a season or $3 a day.

Beginning July 8, Aqua-Aerobics will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at the pool. The fee is $5 a day or $55 for the entire summer.
