ELMIRA — The Watertown Rams delivered their most dominating performance of their season on Friday night.

Dalton D’Spain fired a complete-game one-hitter as the Rams routed the Elmira Pioneers, 13-0, in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League game at Dunn Field.

Watertown, which was coming off a 9-8 loss in 10 innings at home against Glens Falls on Thursday, improves to 7-7 on the season.

The effort by D’Spain, who recorded his first win of the season, marked the third victory for the Rams in the four games. Mitch Sewald and Sean Rackoski each recorded seven-inning complete game wins in a doubleheader sweep at Albany on Wednesday.

The 13 runs scored against Elmira (7-6) is a season high for Watertown. The Rams also avenged a 13-3 loss to the Pioneers in their season home opener on June 5.

After an off day today, the Rams play at Newark at 5:05 p.m. and will host Newark in a doubleheader on Monday at the same time at the Fairgrounds.
