WATERTOWN — A city man was sentenced Monday in Jefferson County Court to up to four years in state prison for breaking into an ice cream stand.
Bryant P. Sanford, 28, was sentenced to two to four years in prison after pleading guilty June 2 to third-degree burglary.
It had been alleged that he entered Frosty’s Ice Cream on Bradley Street with the intention of stealing something on June 3, 2013.
He was sentenced as a second-felony offender, having been convicted in County Court in October 2009 of second-degree bail jumping. He was sentenced to 1½ to 3 years in prison on that conviction.
