Scoring, Greens improving at Twin Brooks


WADDINGTON - With both the weather and the greens improving at Twin Brooks Golf Club in Waddington, scores and birdies were both heating up in week seven action in the Murray’s Old Irish Inn Golf League. Taking care of a little housekeeping from week 6, Pete Thomas recorded a “double albatross” on the fourth hole. apologies to Pete for the error. This was the third eagle in the league this year.

High team points for the week were recorded by the LaBarge brothers on the “A” side with 8.5 and, on the “B” side, the dynamic duo of John “JD” Dinneen and Mike “Stone Cold” Stoner with 8.5.

Division leaders also contained league celebrities.

Herbie “The Chicken Man” Ducolon/and Gordy Fetterly on the “A” side with 42.0, Ryan “Moose A Moose” Hayes and Craig “Whitewater” Bogart with 39.5 and Pete “Eagle Eye” Thomas and Colin “Soupy” Campbell with 38.5.

The “B” side is led by Dan “The Man” Dinneen and Jeff “The Music Man” Stein with 43.5, JJ Gray and Vern Drew with 40.0 and Leo “The Skipper” Murphy and Bobby “Say it with Flowers” Domena with 38.5.
