Police: Cape Vincent prisoner possessed sharpened toothbrush

CAPE VINCENT — Roque Hernandez, 47, an inmate at the Cape Vincent Correctional Facility, was charged by state police with first-degree criminal possession of prison contraband and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon at 9:37 a.m. Tuesday at the Alexandria Bay police barracks.

He is accused of possessing a sharpened toothbrush.

He was released back into the custody of prison officials.
