Pair accused of stealing merchandise from Walmart


EVANS MILLS — State police charged Juston J. LaJoie, 39, of 30658 Crowner Ave., Felts Mills, at 1:36 p.m. and William J. LaJoie, 27, of 121 Fairmont Ave., Watertown, at 4:56 p.m. Thursday in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred at 2:22 p.m. July 4. The elder Mr. LaJoie also was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

The two men are accused of stealing $897.74 worth of merchandise from the town of LeRay Walmart Supercenter, 25737 Route 11.

They were both arraigned in LeRay Town Court.

The younger Mr. LaJoie also was charged by state police with petit larceny at 4:46 p.m. in connection with a separate incident that allegedly occurred at the Walmart Supercenter on Route 3 in the town of Watertown at 4 p.m. July 5.

He is accused of stealing a desktop computer worth $348 and was arraigned in Watertown Town Court on that charge.
