ADAMS — State police charged Michael P. Gunn, 27, of Evans, Ga., with second-degree possession of a forged instrument at 2 p.m. Thursday at the state police barracks in the town of Pamelia.

Mr. Gunn is accused of forging signatures on three checks at the Key Bank in Adams Center on Nov. 11, 2012. He turned himself in to police after a warrant was issued for his arrest, police said.

He was arraigned in Pamelia Town Court and his case was turned over to the Jefferson County district attorney’s office for prosecution, police said.
