Nig’s Tavern snapped a two game losing skid holding off Buster’s Restaurant 14-13 in Thursday’s Seaway Slo-Pitch Softball action.

Nig’s scored six runs in the third for a 14-7 lead and held off Buster’s six run seventh.

Joe Brenno, Dean Washburn, and Norm Martel each singled three times for Nig’s Tavern. Bill Durham had a triple and a single.

Tanner Lawrence smacked a homerun for Buster’s. Jamie Wallace connected for three singles while Alex Manke tripled.

In other action, Nig’s won a nightcao over Buster’s 20-12,Club 1812 edged Ogdensburg Bowl II 7-6 and Ogdensburg Bowl I topped Hosmers 14-7.

Nig’s 20, Buster’s 12: Justin Martel drilled a pair of homeruns, Don McCarthy smacked a triple, a double and two singles and Bill Durham lined three singles leadinbg Nig’s Tavern. Norm Martel added a triple and a single.

Harvey Smith had four singles, Tanner Lawrence connected for a homerun and two singles and Tyler Ross and Ernie Jeneault each singled three times for Buster’s.

Club 1812 7, Ogdensburg Bowl II 6: Zach Giglio’s third hit of the day plated Josh Ladouceur in walkoff style with one out for the gamewinner. Josh Ladouceur had three hits while Andrew Ladouceur smacked a triple and a double.

John Reed had a double and two singles for Ogdensburg Bowl II. Matt Rafferty had a double and a single while Don Edwards and Jesse Joanette each singled twice.

Ogdensburg Bowl 14, Hosmer’s 7: Mike “Porky” Perry smacked a pair of triples and a double, TJ Jacobs and Mike Ashley delievered a triple and two singles and Greg Hooper launched a homerun and a single leading Ogdensburg Bowl I.

Logan Ladouceur had a double and a single for Hosmer’s. Joel King added a triple.

Standings: Nig’s Tavern 13-4, Club 1812 13-5, Ogdensburg Bowl 12-5, Hosmer’s Marina 11-7, Ogdensburg Bowl II 7-10, Buster’s 4-13, Murray’s Food Store 2-16.

Tuesday, July 22: Monnett Park - 6 p.m. Murray’s vs. Nig’s, 7:15 p.m. Nig’s at Ogdensburg Bowl II; Bridge and Port - 6 p.m. Ogdensburg Bowl at Buster’s.

Thursday, July 24: A mandatory meeting at the Ogdensburg Bowl 6:30 p.m. to discuss playoff schedule.
