LOWVILLE — Andrew and Eunice Roggie, Lowville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house, hosted by their children, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Lowville Mennonite Church, 7705 Ridge Road.

Mr. and Mrs. Roggie were married on June 6, 1964, at Lowville Mennonite Church with the late Rev. Richard Zehr officiating.

They owned an operated a farm on the B Arthur Road, now operated by their daughter and son-in-law. Mr. Roggie is a seed dealer. Mrs. Roggie does volunteer work.

The couple has a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Lisa, Yulee, Fla.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Matthew Yutzy, Plain City, Ohio, Rebecca and Scott Unruh, Haven, Kan., and Cynthia and Rodney Clintsman, Lowville; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The couple were also parents to several foster children for more than nearly 40 years.
