BENCH WARRANT - Ogdensburg City Police picked up Scott M. Kroeger, 30, of 504 Ford St., Ogdensburg,on a bench warrant issued by the Massena Village Court. He was turned over to Massena Village Police at 9:45 p.m. Sunday, arraigned on the warrant by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow and released after posting $500 cash bail.

The warrant, dated Feb. 12, alleged Kroeger had failed to appear as scheduled on several charges stemming from the alleged theft of a credit card.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Douglas T. Pike, 28, of Ogdensburg with disorderly conduct after responding to a disturbance complaint at 8:45 p.m. Sunday in the town of Oswegatchie. The arrest was made at 631 Irish Settlement Road. Pike reportedly refused to refrain from shouting obscenities.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region on Sunday. Among those:

• Lou E. Smithers, 56, of Madrid at 9:56 p.m. on state Route 68, near Tracy Road, in the town of Lisbon.

SEXUAL ABUSE - MADRID - Massena-based state police charged David A. Maslin, 38, of Chase Mills with third-degree sexual abuse Friday morning following an investigation into a complaint filed with troopers at 11:26 p.m. July 11. Troopers said the victim was an adult female. Further information was not provided.

FELONY DWI - LISBON - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Ray A. Putney, 30, of Lisbon with a felony count of driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 9:29 p.m. Thursday on Flack Road in the town of Lisbon.

His blood alcohol content was not available.

He was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with no bail set.

The local court was unable to set bail because Putney has two or more felony convictions, including a November 2007 conviction for fourth-degree grand larceny from St. Lawrence County Court.

AGGRAVATED DWI - POTSDAM - Village police charged Steele D. Floyd, 19, of Heuvelton with aggravated driving while intoxicated and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle on a public highway and ticketed him for operation of a vehicle with inadequate plate lamps at 2:21 a.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on Maple Street.

He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent. A blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher is considered proof of intoxication in the state. The charge is elevated to an aggravated DWI when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or higher.
