Clifton Springs - Donald F. Hardy age 70 of Spring Run passed away on Thursday July 24, 2014 with his loving family by his side.

Friends may call Monday July 28th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at the R.A. Patrick Funeral Home, 26 West Main Street, Clifton Springs.

Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday July 29th at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Sampson Veterans Cemetery in Romulus with full military honors.

Donald was born May 20, 1944 in Watertown, NY the son of the late Edwin Sr. and Lina Hardy. He enlisted in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971. Donald was employed by the Wayne County Parks services. He lived at the Canandaigua VA for

5 years. Donald could fix anything that was broken and improve it if it wasn’t.

He had a heart of gold and could make anyone laugh and smile. Donald had a passion for his country and anything that had to do with US veterans. But Donald was happiest “Breaking Bread” with his family and loved ones.

Donald is survived by his twin brother, Ronald Hardy, brothers, Gerald R. Hardy, Brian Hardy, and Bruce (Cinda) Hardy; sisters, Carol (Gifford) Loomis and Barbara (Phil) Boardman; several nieces and nephews; dear friends, Krystal Miles and Georgia Gonzalez.

Donald is predeceased by his brothers, George, Carl and Edwin.
