FELONY DWI - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Jarred M. Bradish, 25, of Massena with a felony count of driving while intoxicated and illegal possession of a hypodermic needle and ticketed him speed in zone and failure to keep right at 9:25 p.m. Friday on East Hatfield Street.

DWI - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Caleb L. Smith, 24, of Watertown with driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for making an illegal less than 100 feet from a turn following a traffic stop at 2:30 a.m. Saturday on Grove Street.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - NORTH LAWRENCE - Massena-based state police charged Timothy M. Merwin, 24, of North Lawrence with second-degree criminal contempt after responding to a complaint of a violation of an order of protection at 7 p.m. Friday. The arrest was made at 8:32 p.m. at 1970 state Route 11C. He had also been charged with criminal contempt earlier in the week. Merwin was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $250.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Thomas J. Spinner, 44, of Louisville with second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct Friday morning stemming from an investigation into a harassment complaint filed at 9:46 a.m. July 21 from the village of Massena.

FELONY DWI - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Ricky B. Diabo, 31, of Hogansburg with a felony count of driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law following a traffic at 3 a.m. Saturday on Chapman Road in the town of Fort Covington. An offender with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and a passenger under 16 years of age in their vehicle has a DWI elevated to a felony under Leandra’s Law. Diabo was additionally charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana and was ticketed for operation of a vehicle with an inadequate plate lamp. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the Franklin County Jail.

DWI - ST. REGIS FALLS - Malone-based state police charged Jamie A. Chapman, 39, of Massena with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed him for moving from lane unsafely following a traffic stop at 10:59 p.m. Friday on South River Road in the town of Waverly.

DWI - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Erica L. Saber, 29, of Canton with driving while intoxicated and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and ticketed her for a right of way violation for allegedly improperly entering the roadway following a traffic stop at 12:02 a.m. Saturday on Park Street in the village of Canton.

PETIT LARCENY - OSWEGATCHIE - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Jordan M. Murdock, 16, of Ogdensburg with petit larceny Friday evening following an investigation into a shoplifting complaint filed with troopers on July 17 from the town of Oswegatchie.
