POTSDAM — Village police on Monday charged Brendan W. Narrow, 24, Potsdam, with possession of a hypodermic instrument and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both class A misdemeanors.
Police said that at 2:20 p.m., in the vicinity of the Big Lots Plaza on May Road, they found Mr. Narrow highly intoxicated. Following a search, he was found to be in possession of two hypodermic needles and five pills that they said were determined to be a controlled substance.
Mr. Narrow was arraigned in Village Court and was sent to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
