The fourth United Helpers Ride for the Residents is scheduled for August 23, providing an opportunity for motorcycle enthusiasts to enjoy a ride through the north country while supporting the mission of United Helpers. The ride will help purchase quality of life improvements for residents. The ride starts at 10 a.m. at RiverLedge Campus, 8101 Route 68. Check in is at 9 a.m. and registration is $20 for drivers or riders and people who preregister will be eligible for a T-shirt along with the entry fee. T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 preregistrants only. Registration includes dinner at the Heuvelton Fire Department. Anyone who just wants to come for dinner at the fire department is welcome to join. Dinner is $15 for those who do not attend the ride. There will be door prizes and 50/50 raffles at the event.
