Drs. Prasad and Suseela Yitta donate property

Dr. Prasad Yitta, former surgeon at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, and Dr. Suseela Yitta, former Pediatrician for Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, have generously donated the building that they used as their office in Ogdensburg for the last several decades to the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Foundation. Jim Chadwick, CHMC Board Chair, has said “The community and the Claxton Hepburn Medical Center family have been so fortunate to have both Doctor Yittas’ generosity these past thirty years shared with all of us. Their time and energies have helped the community flourish for the betterment of all the residents. And as they leave the community that they love for the final time, their office building donation to the Claxton Hepburn Medical Center Foundation is a lasting gift to those that they have helped during our lifetime. The money from the sale of the office complex will go to the Foundation and be used for the Claxton Hepburn Medical Center and Richard E Winter Cancer Treatment Center’s future expansions. The CHMC Foundation Board thanks the Doctors for their generosity one more time.”
