HYPODERMIC INSTRUMENT - DEKALB - Gouverneur-based state police charged Aaron M. Peabody, 25, of Watertown and Michael V. Huckle, 30, of Canton with possession of hypodermic instruments. Peabody was additionally charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a stop at 2:30 p.m. Monday on Route 11 in the town of Dekalb.
AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Mark J. Gonyou, 26, of 140 Liberty Ave., Apt. 2, Massena, with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed him for operation of a vehicle with an inadequate exhaust and failure to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of an address change following a traffic stop at 11:57 p.m. Monday on South Main Street. Gonyou reportedly had eight suspensions on his operating privileges. He was arraigned by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow and released on his own recognizance.
CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - DEKALB - Gouverneur-based state police charged Cody J. Walrath, 20, of Gouverneur and Nikka M. Reed, 21, of Ogdensburg with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 9:30 p.m. Monday following a stop on Route 11 in the town of Dekalb. Walrath was additionally charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
