The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce and the City of Ogdensburg are proud to announce the NYS B.A.S.S. Chapter Federation Tournament (NYBCF) being held at the Dobisky Visitor’s Center, 100 Riverside Drive, on Saturday and Sunday.

Over (120) fishermen and their families will be visiting Ogdensburg to participate in this tournament. They will welcome the fishermen and their families on Friday, with registration and a delicious dinner provided by The Place of Ogdensburg.

Boats will be launching at 4 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday and returning at 3:30 p.m. for weigh-ins. The tournament will close out with six place winners on Sunday. This tournament is made possible by Senator Patty Ritchie’s office who has allocated $70,000 for St. Lawrence County in special funding to support fishing tournaments and boost tourism.

There will be the following vendors available from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on both days: Stream King Fishing Lures; Thousand Island Winery; Blevins Bros. Inc.; North Tole; Down By the River Crafts; CJ’s Vintage Collectibles; Friot’s Family Farm; Pelican Peace Designs; St. Lawrence Valley Sportsman’s Club; North Country Fishing Lure Collectors; R and J Finds; Dell’s Sports and Novelties and Society of United Helpers.

The Grub Tub will have breakfast items at 4 a.m. for the fishermen and lunch items for everyone later in the day. On Saturday, there will be a water slide for all the kids from Seaway Valley Jumpers and face painting by Maggie Gebo.
