Motorists accused of DWI

The following motorists are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

William J. Bosell, 39, of 42 Island Road, Palermo, was charged by state police with aggravated DWI, second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment at 6:56 p.m. Monday at 269 Route 11. Police said he violated an order of protection by having contact with a protected party.

His blood alcohol content was listed as .21 percent.

Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher constitutes proof of intoxication. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or higher.

Katie A. Turner, 23, of 1815 Olmstead Drive, Apt. 201A, Watertown, also was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies with driving to the left on a grade or curve at 3:10 a.m. Sunday on Route 156. Her BAC was listed as 0.15 percent.
