OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Mark E. Ross-Hixson, 19, of Johnsonville with littering, an open container violation and possession of a fictitious license at 10:40 p.m. Saturday on Maple Street. Police said they stopped Ross-Hixson after they observed the open container and littering violations and discovered he had a fake identification.

JAIL TRANSPORT - POTSDAM - Village police picked up Joshua J. Devine, 30, of Potsdam at 10:34 a.m. Friday at Potsdam Village Court after he was sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $500 cash or $15,000 bond for an alleged violation of probation.

0852 Report of a milky substance running out of a culvert. Patrol dispatched, and DEC notified and responding.

0908 Property damage accident on Market Street. Patrol responded and completed an accident report

0920 Patrol completed a traffic stop on Broad Street. A verbal warning was issued.

0952 Report of a dog bite.

1034 Potsdam Village Court requests patrol to Court to take an individual into custody. Transported to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility without incident.

1205 Report of a disabled vehicle on Sandstone Drive in the driving lane. Patrol responded to assist but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

1218 Harassment complaint received. Investigation continues

1326 Report of a possible scam.

1347 Patrol completed an equipment inspection for an inadequate plate lamp.

1416 Property damage accident.

1418 Third party report of a suicidal subject. Investigation revealed the individual had already been taken to a hospital for care/treatment.

1501 Handicapped parking permit was issued to an applicant.

1627 Property found was turned into the PD. The owner came in looking for it a short time later.

1742 Property damage accident/hit and run in the Filter Plant Alley.

1806 Report of a car/dog accident on Bay Street. Patrol dispatched.

1824 Patrol responded to a property damage accident on Wellings Drive.

2050 Patrols responded for a two-vehicle property damage accident on May Road at the intersection with Market Street.

2109 Patrol completed a traffic stop on Elm Street. A verbal warning was issued.

2221 Potsdam Rescue and patrols dispatched to a call.

2240 Patrol observed a subject in violation of the local ordinance on open container on Maple Street. Tickets issued to the suspect.

2301 Patrol completed a traffic stop on Sandstone Drive. A verbal warning was issued.

2317 Patrol responded to a noise complaint on Bay Street. A verbal warning was issued.

2341 Patrol completed a traffic stop on Lawrence Avenue. A verbal warning was issued.
