James Judkins of 3904 North West 62nd Street, Oklahoma City, OK passed away August 22, 2014 in Oklahoma.

He was a summer resident of Pillar Point and Chaumont.

James was born May 23rd, 1922 in Purcell, OK to James & Pearl (Hightower) Judkins.

He was a member of the Marine Corps and a survivor of Pearl Harbor. Following his discharge, he worked for the US Postal Service and retired in 1973.

James is survived by his wife of 66 years, Madeline (Hayes) Judkins, OK, formerly of Brownville; nephews: Gene, Ray, David & Wayne Judkins, OK, Michael Deline, Dexter, and Terry Dasno; Nieces: Kathy Erwin, OK, Pamela Hayes and Linda Dasno, Dexter, & Holly Petzoldt, Chaumont. Also surviving him is a dear friend, Kathy Blackwell of OK.

He enjoyed spending summers in Northern New York, country music, and fishing.

James and Madeline were members of All Saints Catholic Church, in Chaumont.

Arrangements are with Buchanan Funeral Home, OK with a military service at St. Charles Borromea Catholic Church in OK later this week.
