LISBON — State police on Monday charged Christopher P. Ramsay, 31, of 11 Buck Road, Waddington, with criminal mischief and petit larceny, both misdemeanors.

Troopers said that at 7:49 p.m. Aug. 21, Mr. Ramsay was dropping of a bag of clothing belonging to his ex-wife, Jamie Ramsay, at her mother’s 10201 Route 37 residence when it was discovered that he had cut her clothes up and put a leaking bag of marinated chicken in with them, causing $200 worth of damage. It also is alleged he stole her cellphone, valued at $100.

Mr. Ramsay was arraigned in Lisbon Town Court and released under probation supervision.
