WATERTOWN — City police charged Yarbrough J. Latulas, 30, of 522 Cayuga Ave., on several counts in connection to several events in August.

Police first charged Mr. Latulas at 1:08 a.m. Friday on Gale Street with second-degree burglary, petit larceny and first-degree criminal contempt in connection to an unspecified incident Aug. 9 at the 200 block of Creekwood Drive.

An hour later, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, he was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree aggravated harassment. Police said that on Thursday, Mr. Latulas broke a window belonging to John M. Repp, worth $100, by throwing a hammer at it, and also sent threatening text messages to Mr. Repp.

He was held by police pending his arraignment in City Court.
