State Police Report


CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - MORRISTOWN - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Brent E. Maisland, 25, of Morristown with two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment following an investigation into a domestic dispute reported at 9:55 p.m. Sunday from the town of Morristown. Maisland allegedly prevented the alleged victim from making an emergency call and damaged property during the argument. The arrest was made at 12:05 a.m. Monday. He was arraigned in local court, and bail was set at $2,000 cash.

DWI - WADDINGTON - Massena-based state police charged Kyle W. Whalen, 24, of Chase Mills with driving while intoxicated - refusal to take a breath test and unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed him for an equipment violation for having an inadequate exhaust following a traffic stop at 9:43 p.m. Saturday on Main Street in the village of Waddington.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Desirae L. Parrish, 18, of Edwards with unlawful possession of marijuana following a stop at 2:40 a.m. Sunday on state Route 56 in the town of Norfolk.
