John R. Bocciolatt, the Republican candidate for Jefferson County Sheriff, is hosting a “moonlit evening dinner cruise” with former New York Yankee pitcher Tommy John beginning at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 17.
Mr. Bocciolatt, a Watertown native and retired detective sergeant with the Portland, Ore., Police Bureau, will face the winner of the Sept. 9 Democratic primary between Colleen M. O’Neill and Paul W. Trudeau.
Ms. O’Neill is a retired New York state police senior investigator and Mr. Trudeau is the undersheriff of Jefferson County and a 15-year veteran of the Sheriff’s Department.
Dinner and dessert will be provided by Deke’s Catering and the evening will include live music by Tom Gagnon and a live auction with Allan Hunter. The cruise departs from Uncle Sam Docks in Alexandria Bay and runs from 6-9 p.m. The cost is $30 per person or $50 per couple.
The three Sheriff’s candidates met last week for a forum at the Dulles State Office Building. View that story here: http://wdt.me/8HbEmr
