PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Cindy M. Alguire, 44, of Massena with petit larceny Tuesday following an investigation into the theft of money from a neighbor’s residence in late July. Alguire reportedly stole $130 from Jean Labarge when she was visiting her Stoughton Avenue residence on the morning of July 26. She was arraigned by Norfolk Town Justice Donald Lustyik and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $500 cash.

MOTORCYCLE-DEER ACCIDENT - LOUISVILLE - A Lisbon man was taken to Massena Memorial Hospital by Massena Rescue for treatment of abrasions and possible internal injuries after he struck a deer with his motorcycle early Wednesday morning. Massena-based state police said Curtis J. Fonda, 60, was eastbound on state Route 131, near the Whalen Road, in the town of Louisville when he struck the deer.

PROHIBITED SALE ALCOHOL - COLTON - State police conducted an underage drinking enforcement action Tuesday evening in St. Lawrence County, and two stores in the Colton area were charged with selling alcohol to a person less than 21 years of age. They were:

• Cody E. Stone, 19, of Potsdam at 6 p.m. at Ames General Store, state Route 56, Colton.

• Brenda C. Boyce, 54, of South Colton at Boyce’s General Store, 3914 Main St., Colton.

HARASSMENT - LISBON - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Ellen A, Mills, 35, of Ogdensburg with second-degree harassment - following people Tuesday morning following an investigation into a complaint filed with troopers on Aug. 19. Troopers said the arrest was made at 9834 state Route 37, Lisbon.

GRAND LARCENY - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Edward G. Cummings, 57, of Fort Covington with fourth-degree grand larceny (property valued at more than $1,000) Tuesday evening following an investigation into a lost property complaint received at 3:29 p.m. from the town of Malone. The arrest was made at 526 Buell Road, Fort Covington.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS - BOMBAY - Malone-based state police charged Matthew W. Lamica, 32, of Moira with third-degree criminal trespass Tuesday afternoon following an investigation into a trespassing complaint filed with troopers at 2:57 p.m. Aug. 28 from the town of Bombay. The arrest was made at 455 County Route 32, Moira.
