SARANAC LAKE — A man in his 60s died Monday after suffering a medical problem while driving his pickup truck in the village of Saranac Lake, according to police.
Saranac Lake Police Sgt. Geoff Carmichael said the man’s GMC Sierra crashed into a stone wall on Broadway on Monday morning.
The man was pronounced dead at Adirondack Medical Center. His name was not released, pending notification of relatives.
John LaPier was driving a Time Warner Cable repair truck behind the pickup and saw the crash. He said he called 911 and ran to the vehicle and saw that the driver was having a medical emergency.
