Watertown- The funeral mass for Thomas G. Rapholz, Floral Drive, Watertown, will be Friday, September 5th, 11:00am at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Rev. Jonas Tondayu officiating. Burial will follow the mass in Brookside Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, September 4th, 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown.

Thomas passed at his residence on September 2nd. He was 76 years old.

Born in Cape Vincent on December 31, 1937, a son to Edwin and Annis Fisher Rapholz. Following a local education he worked for over 50 years in the north country as a real estate professional. He was one of the last fisherman on the St. Lawrence River, based out of Cape Vincent to have a commercial license to net fish.

He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, and attended the Watertown Assembly of God Church. He was a life member of the North Side Improvement League, and a member of the Carthage Elks Lodge Post 1762, Watertown American Legion, and the Black River Fiddlers Association.

Thomas is survived by a sister, Marjorie Facey, Watertown; 2 longtime friends, Charles R. Harwood, Watertown, Michael Ouelette, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Thomas is pre-deceased by 13 siblings.

Arrangements are with Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Inc.
